We all know the classic tradition- a bride has to wear something new, something borrowed, and something blue. It’s always fun to see how brides try to incorporate these three things into their big days. Something blue can be a bit challenging, especially if it doesn’t quite compliment your wedding colors or overall look, but there are a ton of unique ways to slip that sliver of color in there somewhere.

Perhaps the most classic option, a garter is a simple but great way to wear something blue. There are many designers who create high-quality blue garters or can custom make one for you.

Cufflinks, Ties, and Pocket Squares

What better way to include this tradition than to get the groom in on it? Grooms should have equal participation in the ceremony, and this is one way to do so. A groom can also sport a blue tie or pocket square.

Bridal belts are fun accessories, and range from simply pretty to incredibly glam.

Flowers

A bouquet full of blue flowers or a simple blue ribbon tied around the base would do the trick. Or, you could have a flower girl sprinkle blue petals behind her!
